Katmandu is one of Cat’s early fingerpicking masterpieces. The composition is full of irregularities so it’s little wonder that it never received a proper transcription. Until now. Enjoy!

Playing Cat Stevens 
Thank you so much for your continued works on this site. This song was particularly moving when Yusuf played it during his last two U.S. tours. I’m so glad there is this new transcript to work with. Question, is it possible to include a Guitar Pro, TIFF, or even a PDF file for download?

What’s surprising is that Cat plays “Katmandu” pretty much with all the intracies just like back in the 1970s. Adding any other tablature formats is not feasible for us.
